Doing What I’m Made for Despite Fear

Bob Goff’s words are always right on.

I have historically been afraid of people’s opinions and words about me. Fortunately and unfortunately God has allowed me to go through lots of things in life in which he wants me to share about freely. It’s definitely not always easy.

This involves hearing people’s thoughts and opinions (good and bad) and I just keep on sharing. It’s hard to talk about suicide, mental illness, trauma, abuse, body image, addiction and alcoholism, being in a mental hospital and rehab, and sharing my good and bad days in between.

But you know what’s cool? God has delivered me and continues to do so. He is worthy of my praise.

I’m still trying to figure out what God’s plan is for me long-term, but I don’t have to know have to know.  I just have to focus on today.  Praise God for his plan.
